Mike and Erica were introduced to us through our partners at Mission Federal Credit Union on January 25th, 2016. As newlyweds, they were anxious to find a home to call their own. We sat down with them the very next day on the 26th to help them put a strategy together. As emergency responders, it was important for them to find a home that was central and had quick access to their respective places of work. While forming a strategy together, Mike and Erica mentioned a property in Clairemont they had noticed online and were curious to see in person. With the market being so active, we decided it was best to go visit it immediately following our meeting. We toured the property, they fell in love with it and decided to submit an offer!
Our team went into over-drive to get the listing agent on the phone, to learn more about the history of the property and to determine if there were other offers already in play. The listing agent indicated there were multiple offers on the home and that his phone was being inundated with calls. With support from our friends at Mission Fed, we sent an offer over immediately based on the proactive strategies our team had discussed with Mike and Erica during our consultation. On the evening of the 27th they were elated to find out that their offer had been ACCEPTED by the seller and that we would be opening escrow on their new home!
Escrow was smooth and closed on Feb 26th! Mike and Erica couldn’t have been happier! Erica shared this nice thought with our team a couple of days after closing:
“Thank you for the champagne and beautiful flowers! We are thrilled to finally be “home”. Thank you for all your hard work and for making our dreams come true! We will be sure to tell our friends about you and your amazing team!
